About us
Team Leadership…
The nature of leadership has long seemed a masterful black box. Masonic work and leadership argues otherwise. Leadership is not a secret art that can be mastered by the lucky few. It is a discipline that can be taught- and learned. Where to start? By committing visibly to a small handful of proven Masonic leadership “ACTIONS”.
Can leadership be taught? Or is it an art that calls for special personal qualities or capabilities? Does it take a certain kind of charisma? And, if so, can experience help sharpen these qualities or bring them to the fore? Or, do you have to be born with them?
At Unity #48… We make good men better!
Our Masonic experience at Unity suggests that effective leadership has less to do with inherent personal qualities than with a major commitment to action. Charisma can help, of course, but it is commitment-visible commitment- to action that matters. First, you make a commitment to join Unity, once initiated you begin a life long journey of education to emulate and promote the virtues, character and vision of the Man and the Mason.
Our leadership team at Unity (shown below) is committed to action guided by sound, proven Masonic principles, Morals and Dogma. Collectively they represent over 270 years of Masonic leadership experience.
At Unity and in Masonry, shared leadership exits at all level of the lodge. There is room for everyone to take a leadership role even though they may be new and/or may not currently hold an office. This is Unity #48. There is room for your Leadership right now!
